It’s crazy how fast this space is growing. It feels like everyone is sprinting full speed at innovation because they know ai has the capability of going so fast.

Which is why the news outlets have not quit breaking news.

So within just a short amount of days since Sunday, we’ve got more top stories for ya.

• Adobe seems to be falling behind in generative ai

• There’s a new company to help you after data input in Excel or Google Sheets

• Neuralink’s successful trial

CATCH UP ADOBE 🏃 💨 

Massive improvements have been made in the generative ai space. Between OpenAi’s Sora they just released with obviously including ChatGPT and Dalle-3. Microsoft has CoPilot along with Google releasing Gemini and all of their products. There’s many other small products that are currently out in that space.

Adobe felt like they were falling behind.

So they’ve put together a team of about 50 people to create the CAVA (co-creation for audio, video, and animation) team.

Moving a company that’s been around as long as it has in the design world like Adobe (arguably no other company has been doing it as good or for as long) will be such a tough challenge navigating those waters.

What Adobe has on their side are a few things:

• name recognition

• availability to resources

• more data than you could think

Can Adobe keep up in a space that seems like you have to go 100mph everyday just to keep up?

EXCEL GOT TAGGED OUT 🤼 

For all you freaks in the sheets, Excel might have a power player that just increased your vertical.

Julius sets out not to remove the need for a google sheets or excel but actually take all your inputted data and do great things with it.

It really transforms you into a data scientist.

It’s completely free to try out. There are some restrictions on how your data needs to be laid out on your own excel sheet but it seems pretty intuitive. If you work in data everyday and are looking for something to up your game, this looks like a great resource.

NEURALINK, WE HAVE LIFT OFF 🚀 

We’ve been reporting on ai fnp for a long time now about Neuralink and the advancements being made.

On January 29 earlier this year, Neuralink had there first implant surgery on a human. After nearly a month, Neuralink is happy to report that their patient fully.

This patient now has the ability to control a mouse with his brain. (not the animal, but a computer mouse…)

We unfortunately don’t have a story from the actual patient (I’m sure they’ve signed a quadrillion NDA’s). This information was confirmed by Sawyer (down below) that Elon confirmed it in a Twitter Space he was in.
